Remembering Robert Rauschenberg

Robert Rauschenberg has been my inspiration ever since discovering his work at art school. His whole attitude to painting I identified with from the start. His recent retrospective at Tate Modern was magnificent. I so admire the use of images with painting per se. And also the variable objects which came to hand whilst he was working.
